In 2005 I submitted a series of color story boards to SCE Studio Liverpool for an animated prequel to the WipeOut game from game developer Psygnosis. The film was to take place 100 years before the original WipeOut game set in 2147. For those unfamiliar Wipeout is a futuristic hover racing game complete with powerups and weapons. The prequel was to focus on the beginnings of the race genre with racers modifying consumer vehicles with weapons and street racing. Sort of like the Fast and the Furious 50 years in the future with plasma beams.
Unfortunately the project was scrapped and and the film was never produced.
In 2005 I had the opportunity to develop a full flash website complete with e-commerce and photo gallery. The website was built on a windows server with ASP running the show. The shopping cart software was good but I ended up writing a good deal of code so the customer could sell serialized gift cards. Customers are able to purchase their gift card, print it out and redeem it immediately. This worked out great for many guys doing their last minute gift shopping for their significate other.
